Fungi Frenzy!

Proper Sunday lie-in today, breakfast, food prep for Zeph and Grace for later, then over to Hartsholme Park to search out some of the fungi which is prevalent at this time of year, particularly the colourful Fly Agaric mushrooms.

There weren't as many as there has been other years but we did find some - and a few different types too. I've posted a couple of extras. Some smaller mushrooms on a rotting tree-branch and another shot of this main one with an insect on.

Last night we relaxed and watched a horror movie - the newest Candyman film which I really enjoyed.

Straight from the park we went to Jeri's where I watched another horror show which I did not enjoy in the slightest - Man Utd got a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool. It wasn't entirely unexpected. They seem to have forgotten how to play since Ronaldo returned. They are all very talented, highly skilled players, but they do not seem to know how to play together as a unit. Something is very wrong! The two youngest Grandsons were delighted of course, being Liverpool fans!
