Miracle Moringa

This amazing plant is growing in a pot in my garden, despite being virtually ignored most of the time! I did bring it in to the house during the winter because it doesn’t tolerate frost. It is drought tolerant and generously offers us some amazing benefits!
The leaves are the most nutritious part of the plant, being a significant source of B vitamins, vitamin C, provitamin A as beta-carotene, vitamin K, manganese, and protein. The leaves are cooked and used in ways similar to spinach.
I have used them raw on salads or blended into a smoothie or soup.
