15th Street

It has been raining ALL day, and I'm very happy. A "bomb cyclone" has brought a lot of rain into the area but it no doubt won't even scratch the surface of what we need to fill reservoirs and soak the earth in forested areas, but it's something. It was rather windy today as well, and along with seeing downed branches and broken tree limbs on my walk, I saw reports of damage around the city.

I only walked for maybe a mile, if that, as my shoes happen to have finally worn through on the soles to the point that they don't keep water out. I tend to wear shoes until they practically fall off, so I knew I was asking for trouble today, but I didn't want to break out a new pair just yet.
