Just to get Some reward

So Thursday, Friday and today we have been working  on the Allotment.  We promised we would only do a little and come home.   

I don't know what is wrong with us, seriously.   The tasks we set ourselves was to (a) weed the beds which had been overtaken by some kind of chickweed, (b) dispose of the plants which had seeded.  (c) clear the paths. 

By the end of today, we had pretty much achieved everything we needed to do. 

We cleared all the beds in 12b.   Si planted many many onions (surrounded by the blue above0 and I cleared a plot and planted all my Asparagus crowns which I have grown from seed.   I believe this year we may have more than enough asparagus to have a whole serving each at the same time. 

We cleared the trimmed  back the fennel, pulled up the rocket and corriander, weeded the cabbages, and caulis removed the brussels which weren't working, cut back the artichokes, pulled some carrots, cut back the curly kale, and took up half a bed of french beans, and finally cleared the bed of Squashes,and planted the garlic and shallots. 

Heavens but we could hardly move on Saturday afternoon.
