The Ordeal

Mrs Raheny and I dragged the two teenagers that did not have a theatre rehearsal to Avondale Forest, to catch a few autumnal leaves, sun rays and gorgeous scents of vegetal decay and dew. 
It required a careful mix of coaxing and threatening and it was a protracted affair. But they were eventually bundled in the car and off we went. 
It's only when we arrived there that we noticed that Mimi had opted for a pair of white Stan Smiths for foot apparel. And she's supposed to be the brainy one in the family... 
Anyway a slightly less inappropriate pair of leather shoes was sourced in the boot of car and we went for a nice long loop around the demesne. We learned during the walk that school principals are evil beings. That came as a surprise.
