Wreck

Time was, this yacht was moored to a tree on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, looking in reasonable order. Two years ago it was taken on by a man who didn't look as if he had two pennies to rub together, and was trying to do it all himself. I talked to him a few times when I was walking the dog, and it seemed to be getting more difficult. As in keel detached, hole in the hull. The boat looks to have been untouched since then, and the interior is a total disaster now. It looks like the mooring lines have been detached, as if to encourage it to float away. Desperately sad.
