Passover Seder

Parsley, Charoset and Matzah, three items from the Seder plate.

Parsley is dipped into salt water at the beginning of the meal. The salt water represents tears, the parsley (Karpas), the pain felt by the Hebrew slaves in Egypt.

Charoset, a sweet salad of apples, cinnamon, fruits, nuts. This represents the mortar used by Hebrew slaves to make bricks.

Matzah is unleavened bread.

Apologies for the grainy image, very low light.
