Low flying

I have spent the day at Bagnalls beach with friends and hounds (the hounds in the first extra).   There is a park with play equipment for children, barbecues, seating and a short path to the beach which is a leash free dog beach with lovely white firm sands.  What more could you ask for?  Oh yes, toilets, and yes there are toilets.  Today was an absolutely glorious goldilocks Spring day.   Not too hot, not too cold - just right.

Maggy had an absolute ball today chasing balls, a delicious barbecue lunch was had and then on the way home I got buzzed by some low flying lightnings.

Quite unnerving as you are driving along and then there is a roar and next minute you see the jets  off in the distance.  Well of course I had to stop at the base on the way home and see them land.  One is in the extras not to mention the planespotters equipped with binoculars and big lenses.   The only difference I could see to trainspotters was that they weren't clutching train timetables.
