A taste of Summer

Blue skies with fluffy clouds and it was 30C according to my car as I was driving home.  The beaches will be packed out soon.  One for Bob's theme today of sky.  This is looking up at the University of Newcastle city campus.
Thanks for hosting Bob.

Hamish is still at the vets.  He had more tests today but again normal.  He has a bit of a temp and is still not eating so we have decided to keep him on fluids and he will stay at the hospital another night.   If he is no better tomorrow there will be more tests.

Maggy visited her second nursing home for the first time today.  She now visits the hospital and two nursing homes fortnightly.  She did well.   When we came back out to the corridor after visiting one of the residents the OT who was taking me around said "Holy S***" after she had closed the door.    I have to say I was surprised at her reaction but she clearly could not get over the resident, who barely spoke normally, but who was babbling away to Maggy, squealing happiness and clearly had a wonderful time having a visit by a dog.  It is so rewarding when you can make a resident like this come out of themselves.
