Flower Power

Our yucca has excelled itself this year by throwing out six flower spikes which are fading fast now the weather has got colder. Not only has the poor thing put up with a terrace being built round it but also having its roots interfered with. No-one likes that!

I like this plant because it's very architectural and over the summer months has been my pride and joy in that it has centre stage and justified my action to keep it.

The painting is going well in the north facing spare room and the new Farrow & Ball pink is rocking. A brave decision but I've stopped sweating about it and loving it.
