Autumn Haze

Coming over a rise with the sun in my eyes, I didn't really see this view until I raised the camera to my eye. With the sun out of shot there was a hazy atmosphere against almost black trees behind. In the backlighting I could see little insects flying about, branches of the foreground tree and  white tips of the decaying wildflowers (goldenrod maybe).

It was all a bit surreal given how bright the late sun was and I don't think my processing quite captured the haziness, but I did my best with it.
