"Sun In The Sky You Know How I Feel"

How lovely to see the sun this Good Friday morning. I had high hopes of finding some bugs to tog and wasn't disappointed. At first I could only find flies on the south-facing ivy outside my back door but then spotted this green shieldbug basking.

These change from bright green in the summer to bronze in the winter. They hibernate perfectly camouflaged in leaf litter.
