The Girls

A Peaceful Morning in the back yard. The  female Downy woodpecker came for the BarkButter and the little girl Cardinal enjoyed the seed mixture in the tray feeder. The flowers are a variety of Senna, 'a large genus of flowering plants in the legume family' native to the tropics. There are reportedly 260 to 350 species in this genus. We have four different species growing in our yard. I believe that this is  Argentina senna, Senna corymbosa, but don't hold me to that.
