Pumpkin carving.

You may have noticed I am still trying to catch up with blips from our visit to the family in Sheffield.  It is pure coincidence that I am posting this on Halloween.

The morning of our last day there was taken up with making Pumpkin lanterns. How things change, when I was little pumpkins were something found "across the pond", we used Turnips (Swedes).

The blip is Ckickychick and Emily working on her lantern after Granddad had been given the task of cutting the lids and scooping out the insides.  It seems according to opinions he is the world expert in such matters.  The extra is a very noisy (because it had to be in a darkened room) shot of her finished lantern.
