Arnside

The clocks went back early this morning, and for Halloween we’ve been treated to a 22 hour deluge of rain. In the midst of that, late morning, we had a 3 hour dry interval. We took advantage of that by heading to nearby Arnside and walking along the foreshore. A very pleasant walk.

Extra - a little egret feeding nearby. Their technique is always fascinating to watch, using one leg to jiggle the mud below to see what potential prey item is disturbed into movement.
