First Flakes

There was no snow during the night but I'm grateful that I got up early enough to see our first snowfall this morning.  There wasn't even enough to measure, but a light coating stuck to the deck for about 10 minutes - enough time to give Piper a small taste of things to come.  I love the way this image turned out with the single snowflake visible in the foreground.  I'd like to say I planned that. ;-)  The leaves are on our "dead" maple tree.  My Halloween blip (just posted) shows more of the tree.

Today I can either catch up on Blip or do first of the month admin.  I decided on the former so I hope to catch up with everyone today! :-))
