Good Friday

Here are three images from my Good Friday. The central image is All Saints, where I am Vicar. It was stripped of all its ornament and decoration at our Maundy Thursday Service, and I really love the beautiful simplicity and quietness of the church on Good Friday morning.

Around 150 of us gathered from 7 local churches for an outdoor service later in the morning. The snow has mostly gone and the sun shone some of the time, but still quite cold for standing around, so hot cross buns and a hot drink were very welcome!
