In a Spin

Usual Tuesday, bus into Leeds,  a stroll around the shops, resisted taking a lot of photographs because Christmas decorations are going up at a pace.
No way do l want them on my blip in November.
Our usual teacher at ballet had tested positive yesterday evening but we had a session with P, one of the ex principal ballerinas from the company.
She had taught us on zoom in lockdown so l knew what to expect.
What an hour.
Taught at a faster pace, so about double the content.
New and longer sequences of movements.
New terminology to get our heads round.
We were exhausted when we had finished but what a brilliant session.
We all admitted to being out of our depth at times and all said we would practice at home…if we could remember the steps :-)
We all agreed we dislike dancing in a mask.

A group of eight of us went for coffee at John Lewis.
They’ve added toasted tea cakes to their menu …yay!
