Tunbridge Wells West

Opened in October, 1866 this station served the line from Tunbridge Wells to East Grinstead and on to Three Bridges. It finally closed in 1985 and is now a bar/restaurant and not connected to rails at all. The old engine shed serves as the headquarters of the Spa Valley Railway and the marshalling yards are now a large carpark and a Sainsbury's (which is why I was there). Lovely building.

And now I must away and crack a beer to celebrate that it's Friday innit!
