Equality

Lovely morning so I went for a walk. Near the hotel were lovely views of the river so I went back and got my camera; I'd taken some shots with the tablet but I couldn't do the views justice. When I got back I saw these mute swans displaying. The ritual is lovely and includes touching their cheeks together, touching breasts together and entwining their necks. I thought this heart shape worked well today as it's the first day that everyone in the country can marry their life-partner; much as swans usually do.

The black line down the right of the frame is a lamp-standard that they kept floating behind so I was scurrying along to try to keep them in view. It also drove the crop as I looked daft unless I "lost" it like this.
