Northern England in November.

I always find it remarkable to contrast the continental climate of, say, North America, with that which we
experience on the Western fringes of Northern Europe. Here in Arnside we are at 54 degrees north of the
Equator. Follow that line across the Pond and you will find yourself in Hudson’s Bay, a place not well known
for flowers at this time of year.
I am sure that in its own way it is very beautiful but I think I am happy with our grey skies and rain showers.
