Gently down the stream

The poppy seller

Town was absolutely rammed this morning, with market stalls all up the High Street, two Big Issue sellers, a gazebo for the Round Table fireworks guys (and their highly over-excited kids) asking for contributions to the charities they support, definitely Christmas shoppers and in some numbers, coffee drinkers at all available outside tables and at least ten people selling Rembrance Sunday red poppies while the Quakers gave out white ones for peace.

This lad is one of a number of Air Training Corps poppy-sellers, out with their commanding officer.  I asked to take their pic.  They were very obliging.

When I'd bought some of the things I'd gone into the centre for (and forgotten the rest) I got out of there fast.  This afternoon I've done a bit of not-very-much.  Not a bad way to spend a rather cold and dark Saturday!

Finally, a huge thank you for all your generous comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's.  Deeply appreciated, kind blip-friends.

Hope your weekend's going well.  Enjoy Sunday  xx
