Two heads are even worse than one

I was checking equipment on a dark and empty floor of ward rooms. I opened the door of one room and just about jumped out my skin. Covered up but with one arm hanging out, I thought they'd left an unsuccessful outcome on the bed. Obviously Zaphod Beeblebrox is a fictitious character but I still thought it was a patient for a heart-stopping second.
