Up in York

We have come up to caravan for the night. The caravan park used to close at end of October until start of March but last year the owners extended the season because of all the lockdowns. Unfortunately Darren got COVID, was poorly then there was a lockdown so he never actually stayed at the caravan in the months of November or December. So as it’s been quite pleasant today and dry tomorrow we’ve come up to see what it’s like with the shorter days. I’ve had 2 walks, I’m next to the river Ouse in photo and we had a walk near campsite. Darren thinks there maybe only one other caravan occupied on site, so it’s very quiet. Is it as good as being here in the spring and summer? No it isn’t, but it’s still nice to have the option being here, especially when the weather is fine, plus the caravan as heating so we are nice and cosy this evening, I’m sleeping while Darren listens to the football on the radio.
