Across the Bay

A murky sort of day, but the water in the bay was like glass. I'm not sure what was going on in the extra - two ponies returning from the muddy low tide line.  That's about the most excitement for the day!
We did have a chat with Joe this morning - sadly the nursery Esme goes too is going to close. Anyone working in education in NZ now has to have a covid vaccine and it seems some of the women were reluctant as they are pregnant, or hoping to become pregnant or have other worries. A real shame as it was an excellent nursery, based on outdoor learning and Esme has been going there since she was a dot. There are a couple of other nurseries but now there will be big waiting lists.
