Newton-by-the-Sea

Lovely day, mostly spent in Alnwick - the obligatory visit to the magnificent 'Barter Books' has inevitably resulted in several new additions to the poetry-collection ... expect some upcoming poems in the next few weeks ;-)

Picture here though is of Newton-by-the-Sea, which has a wonderful beach, and an equally wonderful pub - which just had to be visited on the way back to our accommodation :-)
