Silvery grasses

Spotted these long grasses swaying in the wind on my way home from the pub quiz in the wee small hours.
It was well after midnight and dark all arou d except for the pool of light falling on the grasses.
They were very striking, though difficult to capture in a single image.
I hopped off my bike and snapped away, but definitely didn't quite get the image I hoped. I may have to try again with the proper SLR camera.

In any case, another advantage of cycling round the city - beauty surrounds us and it's so much l easier to appreciate without the glass barrier...
