Rook or crow?

More shapes in the architecture of the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. The black bird sat in the pine tree and watched us eat our lunch. The moment a table was vacated, it was there, looking for scraps. It was a very wet day and the poor chap’s tail looked quite bedraggled.

Rook or crow (or possibly raven)? I’m always unsure about black birds. Isn’t there a saying, “If you see one rook, it’s a crow”? And similarly a group of crows are actually rooks?
