Surfacing...

A bit of an emergency blip today: a collage made today, but from images taken last weekend.
Wednesday is the pivot, in our week - the shift from intensive time with the two youngest grandkids to other things.
Richard and I did pick up Eben from school this afternoon, and we took him to his swimming lesson. This, however, is hardly a big demand... we sat in one of the cubicles beside the pool, watching Eben and his little group splashing across the water, gradually working their way towards independence from their various float aids. The teacher - Lee - has a great way with words and is definitely signed up to the carrot rather than the stick as his teaching approach.
Other than that... R has worked on some admin tasks for the Folklore Society, in advance of his trip to London for a meeting with colleagues there on Friday. I've caught up with my Greek homework, and managed to survive another Zoom session this evening without losing the plot.  This week we were trying to get to grips with the imperative, and the homework for next week is to prepare a cooking recipe, complete with appropriately imperative-style instructions. I'm looking forward to that!
