Bridgnorth

Today our friends took us to Bridgnorth, a place neither W nor I had visited before.   A very nice town, and with a steam railway too!  What more could you ask?  Well, we could have asked for it to be running, but unfortunately it wasn’t today.  However, we did spend a very happy hour or so in the pub on the station having a pint and a pie, so that was a good substitute.  I’ve added an extra of the fireplace next to our seat.

Afterwards, we headed back to the car on the cliff railway which is in my main shot.  A couple more extras also added from the day.

After a good meal this evening accompanied by lots of wine and chat, we’re now ready for bed.
