Trail Maintenance

Today we went to a little used trail to get to a hunting spot. Jerry spent most of the day cutting up fallen trees, sagebrush and other vegetation that was in the way of taking the ATV on the trail. I was the unpaid laborer.

But I did get about 3 miles of walking done and saw a nice view as well as some things along the trail. Notice the heart of sunlight in the cottonwood tree photo. Saw a few other hearts along the trail.

Tomorrow we will be up at 5am and out the door before 6 to get to the location and hike in to our morning spot. Not too awful cold and hoping the sun will be shining tomorrow.

Tired so I will be going to sleep much earlier tonight to be getting up early!
