A walk

We left this morning in the dark to go hunt elk. It was cold but felt good walking to the location. Which was up a hill.  We saw no elk in three hours.  So the hunter decided he was going to the other location.  

When we got there I decided to stay at the truck so I could walk by the creek and then read a book.  (Always have a book!). There are two other men hunting with Jerry so I did not have to be with him.

So I had a nice walk by the creek then sat in the truck in the sunshine reading.  Then I looked up and there were deer right beside the truck!   It is mating season so the buck was doing his courting song.  A photo of the buck in the extras.
