The things we do!

Taught my two classes, relaxed then headed to Cairo - I have a wedding of a very good friend to attend, and as it’s only a two-hour flight, why not?!
The flight was full and we arrived a little late. Some things don’t change. The man at the visa counter helped himself to a tip, I went back to ask for my change.. aadi (normal).
Got to the Longchamp at 3.30am and went straight to sleep. It’s very surreal being back! And hard to see what’s changed, although I believe it has - steel barriers line the streets going in from the airport - but the new tower block loom above.. and the old charm disappears into the dust.
