The Golden Hour

It  was another mostly dull, grey day, but I managed to get out for a walk around  noon, when the sun came out briefly, to capture the beech trees on Oliver's Battery  green space.
In the afternoon we went to a ukulele Christmas songs and carols work shop, which was good festive fun, although we got soaked  cycling there during a rain shower.
This evening we attended an excellent cheese and  wine tasting event, by Zoom, run by Cat, proprietor of Toscanaccio,  our local Italian  wine shop. The event was also to publicise the work of, and raise funds for, Winchester GoLD (organisation to support adults with learning disabilities).  A very jolly occasion, even if we spent it watching people on  the screen, rather than  meeting them in person.
