Summer and Fall

I've never tried to winter over geraniums but this year I am trying to save two plants.  They were so beautiful it seemed a shame to let them die so they live in my bedroom windows now.  They can gaze out at the Burning Bush, such a icon of autumn, and think, "I'll be blooming again in a few months."  Summer and autumn together.  I'm entering my Wu Wei season, a Taoist term meaning "doing without doing".  I am less inclined to go out looking for images and more comfortable to let them come to me.  Now, I wonder what's happening at the Back Porch Café?  (She pads off in her slippers, camera in hand.)
