SOUTHWOLD

At last I made it to Southwold!!! Been wanting to visit for a while…now need to see it in the summer sunshine!!!

We got a slight extension on our stay as the check out was 10…which I thought was quite early!!! We made a Bali breakfast to set us up for the day.
We were on our way (mistakenly via Lowerstoft!!!….I managed to change the satnav when I realised but still got ribed for it especially when we ended up down a flooded road!!!
We had a drive around Southwold and a walk along the front and the pier. We got really blown about though. A quick cuppa on the pier then the 3 hour journey home.
Besides a bit of rain it was good considering how bad the Dartford crossing and M25 can get.
Quick turnaround for The Rev as he’s on DIY duty at Js!!!
