The Search for Spring...
... continues, unabated.
Down at the marsh again this morning, low tide this time. Brant geese were gone, but a woodchuck came trotting along when I was hunkered down, trying to photograph a bird. First time I've seen one on the marsh, but they are common enough elsewhere.
There was a nice green-winged teal hanging out with a pair of mallards - beautiful bird, would have loved a shot of him, but there's not much chance of getting close enough. So its catkins. Or pussy willow. Or both.
