One More Fish...

Above 0˚C all day, and the lake is rapidly turning into a sea, yet there are still cars out on the ice. I don't know how they know if it's safe.

Meanwhile a double first on the nature front - the first robin spotted (hopping around in the snow in the back yard) and the first call of the redwinged blackbird heard (down by the lake). Now the strident sound of the male redwing as he stakes out his territory is the surest sign of spring that I know of, and very welcome it is too.
