Local colour

Yesterday is backblipped, due to a late night. And we got up very late this morning.

It's been a quiet, lazy day. Unusually, we didn't have any leftovers from last night to eat for lunch. But I'd roasted a butternut squash to put in the tagine, and only used half of it. So I made the other half into spiced squash soup. I also repurposed the whey from the drained yogurt in a sourdough loaf ... we'll see how it turns out.

In the late afternoon I went out for a walk while the sun lasted. So here's yet more autumn colour. I'm running out of extras, but there's an alternative here.
