Passport Day

Part of the reason we are visiting Los Angeles is to get my wife's passport renewed. We spent yesterday getting ready, photos, forms, etc., for today's appointment at the Federal Building in downtown L.A. I scouted out the route, via transit, to the building at 1100 Wilshite Blvd. We arrived with ten minutes to spare only to find out that I had planned for the wrong address, it was 11000 Wilshite, and there was no way we could make it there on time. Once my wife rescheduled her appointment for the next day, she was determined to make the most of our Metro pass. She remembered that Kelsey had suggested we visit the Citadel Outlet Mall, which we did. What could have been a disastrous day turned out to be a shopping extravaganza for some much needed items in Mexico.
