Car boot sale

Up early for a trip down to Hexham to attempt to sell some of our no-longer-needed belongings at a car boot sale. Drizzling as we set off, but thankfully it dried up just before we arrived. I'm not keen on car boot sales, but this one is huge and seemed extremely well organised. After the initial rush of potential customers, there was a steady stream of people passing through there whole time we were there, and we did surprisingly well!

We had intended to go for a walk by the river when it finished, but by then, after 4 hours' standing around, we were starting to feel a bit chilly and foot-weary, so we packed up the remaining items and went home. The scenic way, of course! Some of the trees, in their autumn mantles, are spectacularly beautiful...
