A day in the life

Evergreen

Soon, the Ivy is the only really green plant along my walk, there are lots of it, tangled around the trees along my walk in The Grove. It's a fascinating plant, using the tree as a support for climbing, using short, areal roots. It's not a parasite, because it doesn't take any nourishment from its host but can sometimes damage the tree by getting too heavy, the climbing areal roots can also bind water so that the tree can get infected with fungi. Where would I be without Google, or Blip, for that matter, giving me a reason to write it down so the knowledge sticks better to my brain.
