Post-Pilates

We’ve just finished watching Intellectual Quiz Programme Night (slightly delayed due to my Pilates class). I turned iPlayer off to find the telly was on ITV. The San Marino v England World Cup qualifier match is on.

I didn’t know what the score was, but they were showing replays of a goal, so I knew we’d scored at least one. Moments later, when I wasn’t paying much attention, I heard the commentator say England had scored their tenth goal.

Mr Pandammonium was about to head out to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. ‘Ten?!’

I looked up at the telly. Ten–nil, it said. Wow.
