They don't know it's over

I can't believe this poppy; it didn't do that much over the summer and now it is flowering like mad! Same with the marigolds. I'm hoping to get some seed off them but not sure there will be time. You can tell it was a breezy day.

I managed to get my very little patch of garden all tidied up and ready for winter. Still quite a reasonable amount of leaves on some plants but the bulk of the work is done. Not a big job but a satisfying one.

Out to choir again tonight and arrangements for a distanced concert are now finalised. With luck and a fair wind it'll all go ahead.
