Out by a lake

at Novotel Twin Waters Resort.

The big gala event for the Sunshine Coast Business Awards is held here every year, and this year, we got to go because Martin was one of the judges for the companies nominated. He did 26 out of the 210 or so organisations that were nominated.

There were 850 guests at this event! And we were privileged to be sitting with 4 finalists and two of them won awards!!! Yay. We were thrilled for them. Thankfully Martin hadn’t judged either of those businesses.

Big brother Bruce is one of the chairs of the Committee and it was great to see him in action and so popular, loved it. We did really miss Jenny though.

Earlier in the day, Martin and I had walked around the lake and we saw a monitor lizard (huge thing), a python (huge thing) and a family of kangaroos!

And that’s how we spent our 29th anniversary.
