Cross spider

This garden spider is set up at our front door and seemed to have caught plenty of small flies.  Got my proper camera out for this one and was very glad to have captured the markings beautifully.

Other names also include: European garden spider, diadem spider, orangie, crowned orb weaver & pumpkin spider.

Greatly cheered with my grape flavoured eggs picked up from Hayley and Davidd and the fact that my shoulder is getting better and better.
