Asparagus seeds

A beautiful late Autumn day. I had time off as the others took Doreen out from the care home for a day out visiting a garden centre for lunch and a look round.

This enabled me to complete some editing on a sustainability policy and strategy for the railway, call in at Aldi for some stuff and visit the allotment to collect some apples. It was here that this asparagus seed head was catching the late afternoon sun.

Back home I finished pickling all those onions peeled yesterday and made a macaroni, roasted squash and cauliflower cheese.

By way of a diversion it was the Marmite ukulele club tonight. We played through our Christmas song book.

Edit: Just realised this might qualify for Wide Wednesday, Numerous, hosted by BobsBlips. Thank you Bob.
