Award for bravery

Yesterday’s boot was constructed in situ. This meant quite a bit of leg and foot manipulation

I had all the pain killers standing by didn’t use any.

Later in the day the plaster team sent me a sticker, a certificate and this teddy bear “for being so brave “

Actually I think it because I cried like a baby.


Salisbury and the surrounding area has a very close connection to the Army. In fact the Odstock Hospital was originally built by US forces during the Second World War

The teddy bear may be a new way of rewarding military personnel for acts of bravery and may be rolled out across the forces.
