All too quickly our Wigtown week is over. Departure time was a little earlier - presumably to give the house cleaner more time for a good COVID clean before the next residents. The woman doing the changeover was actually waiting outside in her car as we packed up and we had a quick chat before heading up the road. Back in Porty in time for lunch.

Forgot to add but on the journey home saw five Red Kites (three single birds and a pair at Springholm) from the road before we got to Dumfries and a couple of Little Egrets on the marshes near Creetown.
