Maidenhead Thicket 2.0

I was feeling quite ‘blah’ today, probably just tired from my last trip. So I took myself off for a walk through the woods. I was here at Maidenhead Thicket earlier this week (here) and it was so beautiful with the autumn colours, I was eager to go back.

The weather app promised sunshine this afternoon but it never materialised. Never mind - the deep colours made up for no sun! I brought a flask of coffee and a pastry and this was my view as I sat on a log and enjoyed my ‘Forest Fika’.

I had my covid booster on the way home. Very happy about that!
